Response of the Heart: A Psalm Through Every Season

Published on Nov 22, 2023

Isaiah 6:5
“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

When every day of life
Is filled with pain and strife
When there is just nowhere to turn
And my eyes with unshed tears burn
To You will I turn
My Lord and my King

When life is full of fun
And happiness abounds in tons
When love and laughter fill the air
And there seems no reason to despair
To You will my praise rise
My Lord and my King

When finally all is said and done
And time on this Earth is gone
When the Pearly Gates doth beckon
And life seems finished I reckon
In You will I rest
My Lord and my King
