Day 9: From Busy to Important

Published on Jan 10, 2022

Victorious Christian Living

Lord, we are so guilty of getting caught up in the busyness of life and losing focus of what really matters. We are busy doing life and keeping up with all its demands, that we don’t make time for you. In our busyness, we don’t prioritize quality time with you, Lord. We don’t make time to seek you in your word and know your heart, or share our concerns humbly with you in prayer. Forgive us we pray.

Help us Lord in this new year to prioritize time with you each day, to meditate on your word, and to spend much time in prayer. Help us Lord to like Mary, choose to spend much time at your feet. May you increasingly become the focus of all our adoration and worship. Help us to love you and your word. Give us sensitive hearts that are eager to hear, understand and apply your word in our lives each day, we pray.

Luke 10:39 – And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.

Psalm 63:1 – O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

Ponder this: Is what I am doing important in God’s economy?
