2. Jesus’ Unyielding Mission to Seek the Lost

SERIES: 31 REASONS TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS

Luke 9:9-10
And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

We celebrate Christmas because

  •  we celebrate Jesus who came down from heaven to seek you and me, those who are lost
  • we can be reconciled with God the Father through Jesus Christ
  • Jesus came to invite us into a joyful relationship with Him so that we can face our tomorrow

Lord, grant me a repentant heart that joyfully and humbly receives you quickly. May all my celebrations this season direct those who are lost to you.
