Luke 9:9-10
And Jesus said to him,Â â€œToday salvation has come to this house, becauseÂ he also isÂ a son of Abraham;Â for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.â€

We celebrate Christmas because

Â we celebrate Jesus who came down from heaven to seek you and me, those who are lost

we can be reconciled with God the Father through Jesus Christ
Jesus came to invite us into a joyful relationship with Him so that we can face our tomorrow

Lord, grant me a repentant heart that joyfully and humbly receives you quickly. May all my celebrations this season direct those who are lost to you.
