We celebrate Christmas because we celebrate Jesus

whose coming down at Christmas is the greatest joy ever
He is the reason for the season when we remember that God sent His only Son into the world to save us
because He is the source of eternal and abundant life to everyone, everywhere who chooses to believe in Him

Lord Jesus, we rejoice with the shepherds who were given the good tidings of great joy at your birth.
May our joyful celebrations this season honour you.
