Psalm 61:1-2 (NIV) - Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. 2 From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

When I am overwhelmed, sheer exhausted
And the day seems full of pain
That refuses to go away when I am tired
And my thoughts of sorrow no respite gain
Then Lord then, lead me
To the Rock that is higher than I

Lead me Lord to You
My Rock and my salvation
Lead me to You when my heart grows faint
When all I want to do is lie down and cry
Lead me Lord to You
To the Rock that is higher than I

And when I am weak and faint
Give Lord me a fresh perspective
Of who You truly are
With strength anew anoint me
To live through the day with grace
My Rock that is higher than I

To live and do all that You
Have intended for me to do today
To live out Your perfect will
Through every thought along the way
That I would bring You glory still
My Rock that is higher than I

Even through the frailest moment
Of my every day, may those watching
See and know, that You are indeed
My God who for me, does truly care
That You are without a doubt
My Rock that is higher than I

Would the Lord find yours to be a heart that is pure?

Part 5: Compelled by Mercy

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
