Relentless Amazing Love

Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Relentless amazing love

Brought my Lord and King

Maker of all the universe

To earth, as mere man, to traverse

Only on Calvary’s tree

To be crucified, for you and me.

He left His heavenly glory

To be born in a manger lowly

To reach out to all mankind

Sin sick, in heart and mind

But the Lord be praised, thankfully,

He didn’t remain a helpless baby.

On mortal earth did He dwell

To do away death’s painful knell

As son to Joseph and Mary

He lived and worked, humbly

And on Calvary’s tree, He did die

Man’s pardon from sin, to buy.

When from the grave He rose again

For us, eternal life He did gain

On Calvary’s tree, was from above

Shown such relentless amazing love

Indeed, He did first us love and forgive

As every drop of blood, He did give.

Thus, He the cause, you see

To forgive and let it be

To love and share the joy

The birth of this divine baby boy

His relentless amazing love, truly the reason

For all our celebration this season.

So as through this season we go

May the world through us, truly know

This wonderful loving Savior

The Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor

Who came with man to dwell,

The Lord of lords, our Immanuel!

Would the Lord find yours to be a heart that is pure?
