Isaiah 9:6-7
For unto us a Child is born, unto us aÂ Son is given; andÂ the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor,Â Mighty God, Everlasting Father,Â Prince of Peace.^ÂOf the increase ofÂ HisÂ government and peace there will beÂ no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. TheÂ zeal of theÂ LordÂ of hosts will perform this.

We celebrate Christmas because we celebrate Jesus

who is the all-wise One, the best and right One to guide our lives
can help us with our problems
for His counsel is necessary, sweet, and faithful

Lord you are indeed the source of endless wisdom and your counsel is loving and faithful.
Help me seek your counsel in your word each day.
