So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
Have you ever wondered about the purpose of life, why you have been brought into this world?
The Bible says God created you! Yes! The Creator of all that is, God the Almighty, all-powerful, Self-existent One, perfect in power, goodness, and wisdom created you!
You are no accident!
God actually chose to create you. He formed and created you in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:14). He fearfully and wonderfully made you. That means the way you look, the color of your eyes, hair are actually designed by this awesome and loving God! You are His Divine Possession!
You and I are fearfully and wonderfully made
Intricate Design: Just as an artisan puts care and attention into creating a masterpiece, so also God has invested incredible detail in creating each one of us. We are His masterpieces (Ephesians 2:10)
Unique Attributes: You and I are not generic or interchangeable beings; we are distinct individuals with our own set of qualities, talents and characteristics (Jeremiah 1:5)
Divine Intent: God has a plan and a purpose for every person’s life, that leads to flourishing and hope and He invites us to trust in God’s plan and seek Him as we navigate the journey of life (Jeremiah 29:11).
God created you for a purpose!
The Bible says God the purpose of your life and mine is for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). You and I were created by Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). This is not in any way to suggest that God created us for His entertainment, to be some puppet, to dance to His tunes. Far from that! He created us with a will, with an ability to choose. The purpose of our lives is to love Him, know Him, to experience Him. We are fellowship with Him, to worship and serve Him! But the beauty is that He has left the choice to you and me.
This amazing, loving, just, Omniscient, Omnipotent God who created all the heavens and the earth created you. He is calling you to the purpose for which He created you – to love, worship and serve Him. Would you join as all heavens declare His wonders?
