05: No Matter What

Published on Oct 30, 2024

Romans 8:37 – Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

The security of the believer is God’s love.

Satan is our adversary and sends all kinds of life-defeating, joy-stealing attacks to threaten the faith and well-being of God’s children (Romans 8:35-39). But he lacks the power to steal our eternal destiny. Neither can he separate us from the love of God. No sin of ours can steal God’s loving care from our lives. No matter what the circumstances, none of the sufferings or challenges of this present time, nothing can separate us from the love of God. And that makes us more than conquerors.

To conquer is to be victorious over an adversary. To be more than conquerors is to have overwhelming victory. As children of God, we are more than conquerors because the Lord Himself fights our battles for us, we are only to be still (Exodus 14:14). We have the promise of God’s presence with, so we approach the darkest valleys of our lives with the certainty that nothing can happen to us that is not permitted by our loving Father, for our good.

This amazing love is our strength and stay.

Lord through the challenges of each day, may I ever rest in security of your love.

Part 5: Compelled by Mercy

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
