20. Jesus the Source of Eternal Life
John 6:51
I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.
We celebrate Christmas because we celebrate Jesus
- who came down from heaven to give His flesh as the bread of life
- displayed His ultimate love for lost humanity on the cross
- who as the bread of life is the source of eternal life to all who choose to believe and accept Him
Lord help me choose and accept the eternal life you give me.
