Titus 2:13-14
looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

We celebrate Christmas because we celebrate Jesus

  • the One who came down from heaven to willingly give Himself to be crucified on our behalf
  • our Redeemer who came to purchase our freedom from all wickedness
  • who came to purify for Himself a chosen and very special people to be His possession, who are enthusiastic to do what is good.

Thank you Lord for redeeming and purifying me.
May I be ever enthusiastic to do the good works you have for me.
