You Are Coming Lord

Matthew 24:30-31 (NIV) – Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

You are coming, Lord
And that’s the truth
You are coming again
We know not when
Yet signs of time have begun

You first did come, Lord
As a baby, lowly and meek
This fallen world to seek
You died on that cruel cross
From that grave in victory arose

Your coming again we wait to see
And now when you come, Lord
You will come as King of glory
With the shout of angels and trumpet call
You will come as the Judge of us all

Your coming is near Lord
And that is the truth
And at Your coming, it will be
That every single knee
In adoration will surely bow

Help us, Lord to choose you now
To bend our knee to you joyfully
Instead of at your coming, forcefully
For Your coming is near Lord
And that is the truth
