True Fast

Isaiah 58:6 (NIV) Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

True fast says the Lord
Is when we show love toward,
Those around, and not exploit
But to Him, thru our lives point

True fast says the Lord
Is when we show love toward
Those around and not let strife
Be the way we live our life

True fast says the Lord
Is when we show love toward
Those around, and humility
Be how we do life, don’t you agree

So as through the day you go
Dear friend would you live to show
A life, when lived in Him, does truly
Set those around, absolutely free

And thus, when your fast is true
Says the Lord, will come through
Your prayer, for I, will incline my ear
And say ‘Here am I’ to your tears
