A Yielded Heart

Psalm 40:8 (NIV) - I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”

As you teach me many things today
May I not harden my heart I pray
Give me Lord the grace to see
That You are gently moulding me
In ways strange, yet precious
To be more like You, gracious

And so help me Lord I pray
To trust you and to obey
To bless those who curse me
And pray for those who hurt me
And when my day is hard or dull
Teach me on your Word to mull

Give me Lord Your heart of love
To keep my eyes on things above
And love the seemingly, impossible
As I focus on things high and eternal
And so a reflection for others to be
The beauty of Christ, who lives in me

Part 5: Compelled by Mercy

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
