Luke 24:5-6 (NIV) – In their fright, the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen!

He arose! He arose!
That is the amazing truth
No, not some fabricated prose
He did die on that Roman cross
Two thousand years ago
But the third day, He arose

He arose! He arose!
True, He was nailed to the cross
It is finished, Tetelestai cried He
Time froze and dark went the sky
No, that is not just a story
But an authentic fact of history

He arose! He arose!
He didn’t stay in the grave
But arose so He might us, save
To live with Him eternally
And while on this earth
To live in absolute victory

He arose! He arose!
So let us, when we still can
Come to the foot of His cross
And our burdens lay down
Accept His forgiveness
And live in victory, eternally

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
