Remember

Deuteronomy 15:15 (NIV) - Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you.

When life is tough
And you are confused
When you feel you’re done
And just cannot move on
When you simply cannot find
A single reason to smile
Remember

When you feel all alone
And no one seems to understand
When your world seems
To be caving in on you
When your future to you
Seems all too bleak
Remember

Remember who you are
Remember whose you are
Remember you are the child
Of the King and Lord
Of all the universe
And that you bear in you
His very image, fearfully made

Remember the many ways
He has blessed you
Remember the times of need
When He has provided for you
Remember when time and time again
He has protected and kept you
Remember

Remember that you are His
Who is the gentle Shepherd
Who in His arms will bear you
The heavenly Father’s, who promises
Never to leave you nor forsake you
Your Redeemer’s, who believes
That you were worth dying for

So when life overwhelms you
Dear friend, would you turn to Him
Let Him hold you in His hands
And as you face life’s challenges
Let Him be your Friend and Guide
Would you promise yourself today
That you will choose, to remember

Part 6: Cleansed and Focused

The person with a pure heart can see God in nature, in Scripture, in the people around. They will enjoy greater intimacy with God than they could have imagined.
Would the Lord find yours to be a heart that is pure?

Part 5: Compelled by Mercy

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
What compels your interactions with people?
