True Rest

Isaiah 30:15 (NIV) – This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

To find rest
When life is so stressed
The air so filled with tension
That it can be sliced
Is it truly possible?

When each day is a battle
And pressures from all sides
Seem to pull and tug
Causing you to lose your mind
Is it truly possible?

When everything that can
Seems to be going wrong
And all you want is to run
To truly find rest
Is it truly possible?

He who with His Word
Calmed the seas, with just
A simple – Peace Be Still
Yes, Christ alone makes it possible
To actually find true rest

So, take your cares to Him today
Allow His peace over you hold sway
Experience His rest all the way
Leaving you, like His disciples, amazed
Worshipping at His feet, prostrate.

Part 5: Compelled by Mercy

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
