What Do You Seek?

Matthew 6:33 (NIV): But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

What are you seeking today?
Solutions to the many challenges
The situations in your life that cause strife
Or are you seeking health, finances
Popularity, acceptance, the many joys of life?
Is it peace of mind that you seek?
Which eludes the rich and poor alike

So, what is it that you seek today, my friend?
Would you seek God and His kingdom, instead?
Choose to seek Him in your every trial and situation
For He the One who promises to go before you
And with His Presence to daily lead and guide you
Seek His joy, His peace, His righteousness
Which are ours through His Son, Jesus Christ

For when we seek Him and His Kingdom
All these things shall be added unto us
Says the Bible, the unswerving Word of God
For He alone the One, the Only source
Of peace, that all human understanding, transcends
So, seek Him dear one, before your every need
And find Him to be true to you and His Word

The person with a pure heart can see God in nature, in Scripture, in the people around. They will enjoy greater intimacy with God than they could have imagined.
Would the Lord find yours to be a heart that is pure?

Part 5: Compelled by Mercy

Those who are grateful for mercy, are merciful. The bottomless well of mercy extended, should motivate and compel one to pass on the blessing.
