â€œTheÂ Spirit of theÂ LordÂ isÂ upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel toÂ theÂ poor; He has sent MeÂ to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty toÂ theÂ captives and recovery of sight toÂ theÂ blind, toÂ set at liberty those who areÂ oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of theÂ Lord.â€

We celebrate Christmas because we celebrate Jesus

He came to proclaim the Good News
who came to bring deliverance, to be the deliverance for us
who came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free

Thank you Lord for setting me free and the healing you bring to my brokenheart.
Help me live each day in the true freedom I have in you.
