When Jesus heardÂ it,Â He said to them,Â â€œThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to callÂ theÂ righteous, but sinners,Â to repentance.â€

We celebrate Christmas because

Jesus is the perfect doctor of our souls who alone can heal us of our sins.
Jesus provides a complete cure and even pays the doctorâ€™s fee.
Jesus came to call us to repentance.

Lord, may my celebrations this season reflect my gratitude to you for healing my sin-sick soul. May I be quick to respond to you with repentance.
