Inclusive Love (John 3:1-21) KNOW GOD

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

How inclusive is your love?| WATCH ON YOUTUBE

This verse is a crisp but by far the most celebrated declaration of God’s love and the gospel. This is a verse that most Christians can quote from memory. God loved the world first. He did not wait for the world to turn to Him. The God of the entire universe, the almighty, all powerful all knowing, all wise God, loved, so loved this world. He loved enough to give His one and only Son who lowered Himself to the level of a mere man. The Creator became the created. He came down so that whoever believes in Him would not perish.

The Word of God emphatically says “whoever” believes. The extent of His love includes every single person, whoever they might be and whatever they may have done. The worst terrorist, heartless murderer, the most notorious criminal. That includes that one person who hurt you so bad or that absolutely impossible person with whom you are struggling to have a civil conversation. Just anybody at all, who believes.

And the reward of believing and accepting this amazing love leads to nothing short of eternal life. Life for all eternity in the presence of this awesome God, where there is no more sorrow, no more pain. Instead, unending peace and joy that never ends.

In a world where everything is about self and questions like “what do I stand to gain”, are the norm, God displays a love that is completely selfless and inclusive. What, dear friend, is your response to this wonderful love? How inclusive is your love?

Help me, Lord, to accept your amazing love and share it with others too, I pray.

Amazing Faith (Luke 7:1-10) FAITH

Faith that moves the heart of God is not about worthiness — it’s about believing He can simply speak the word, and it will be done.
