Bible Verses: Jesus, the Cornerstone

Published on Mar 7, 2023

Jesus is the cornerstone of God’s great plan of the ages, that all things would be founded and fulfilled in Him.

The ‘capstone’ or ‘cornerstone’ was an important stone, that held together two rows of stones or stabilized the stones at the foundation. Jesus is the cornerstone of God’s Kingdom. “Now he is the bond of the building, holding Jew and Gentile in firm unity. This precious cornerstone binds God and man together in wondrous amity, for he is both in one. He joins earth and heaven together, for he participates in each. He joins time and eternity together, for he was a man of few years, and yet he is the Ancient of Days. Wondrous cornerstone!” (Spurgeon).

As you read and meditate on these verses, would you ponder what is your response to Jesus the Cornerstone? Would you ask God to enable you to be among those redeemed, who are rejoicing in Christ Alone, Cornerstone, despite the rejection of the builders?

A Freedom to Choose

What is God calling you to today? Would you humbly say yes to His will, however tough the calling?

God Does Not Forget

God Does Not Forget

God does not forget. He works in ways we cannot understand, sometimes through miracles, for His Kingdom purposes. We are to continue to trust and serve Him faithfully.

Come and See

Come and See

God alone can change hearts, we cannot. We are only called to be pointers, directing people to Christ, so that He might change their hearts.
