Psalm 119:165
Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
In all the times of confusion and pain
The times that bring the greatest gain
Is when, your stress and strain, you entrust
To the One, who alone can quell your distress
True peace is not having confidence
In people or in things, but in His Presence
For He is with you all through your life’s way
And does over every storm hold sway
True peace is not to be kept away
From situations that may cause dismay
But being absolutely sure, that He would not test us
Beyond what we can bear, for He alone does know us
To know that nothing ever comes to us
But through the filter of His love, boundless
To be sure all things together, for good, do work
Yes, even the tough and painful ones, however dark
So would you trust Him today with your every care
And allow Him to walk with you, your burdens bear
So that His peace that indeed does pass all understanding
Would be your portion and your life’s undergirding
