Job had enough recognition of God’s goodness and greatness. Do you?

The mark of righteous anger is that it is triggered by the belittling of God and not the belittling of ourselves. Elihu though young, was led by the Spirit of God.  
Does your life reflect marks of one being led by the Lord?

When our thoughts are not clear, our words will not be clear either. It is necessary that we speak plainly so that we are easily understood to avoid misunderstanding?

When we continue to trust and hope in God even through situations we do not understand, you and I too can emerge as better, stronger, and wiser, by His grace. 

Is there someone whom you need to seek forgiveness from, for hurting them with your ‘just honest’ words?

Times of crisis reveal our inmost and deepest desires. What is your greatest desire?

Times of suffering are times for us to turn our focus on God. To choose to affirm God and His faithfulness in our lives. 

We are not to pass judgment on those suffering. It is not our place. We are called to mourn with those who mourn. How will you be a blessing to a friend who is suffering?

Trials could also be to test our earnestness. Or a way to bring to the fore sin which we are unwilling to turn over to the Lord. Trials could be because we have not yet fully understood the plan of salvation.

We can come to Him with our honest fears, our pain, and questions even. God understands and loves us still. He remembers that we are mere dust. 

Are you able to trust the loving sovereignty of God through tough times?

Pride and selfishness can never lead to any good. Does pride have a role in why you are doing what you are doing?

What sin is lurking near your heart’s door today?
